These English for Academic Purpose classes are for students wishing to use English for American college degree programs. These are credit bearing courses, where students are eligible for financial aid.
In the final semester of this accelerated program, students can take select non-ESL courses towards their degree.

Our MCCC Center for Continuing Studies Non-Credit ESL courses prepare students for entering a college degree program and/or for personal improvement; and professional advancement. Four levels of non-credit ESL are offered though the Center for Continuing Studies. Students will improve English reading, writing, listening, and speaking in a relaxed atmosphere while becoming more comfortable with the rules of English. In this program, you will practice everyday conversation, gain confidence, and learn useful expressions in a friendly, helpful and supportive atmosphere.

Currently located at our James Kerney Campus in Trenton, NJ [directions], MCCC offers English as a Second Language (ESL) courses to students of all levels. Our program is grant funded, so it is 100% FREE for all students.
Come and join the more than 500 students who take part in MCCC's state-of-the-art ESL program. Students work towards developing better speaking, reading and writing skills with the goal of finding a better career, earning their GED, or continuing on at MCCC by enrolling in a certificate program or even one of our associate degrees.
