All students who have registered for classes will automatically receive M-Alerts in accordance with the contact information provided when applying and registering at MCCC as well as to your student email (MercerMail).

Mercer County Community College's emergency messaging service, M-Alert, enables MCCC administrative and security professionals to reach all students, faculty, and staff members with time-sensitive messages via voice recording, e-mail, and text messaging. During unforeseen events, critical situations, or emergencies, the college may employ the system to broadcast pertinent information and provide details on appropriate response.

M-Alert will help MCCC provide a safer environment, enhance emergency preparedness, and keep its students and staff better informed.

Important Message Delivery Notes

When you receive a call from MCCC M-Alert, your caller ID will display 609-570-3565.
When you receive a text message from MCCC M-Alert, the 'sent from' number will be 23177.
When you receive an e-mail message from MCCC M-Alert, the 'sent from' address will be m-alert@mccc.edu.
When listening to a message, please be aware that background noise will cause the system to stop and start. It is calibrated very delicately to determine whether a person or an answering machine has answered the phone, and background noise may affect the delivery. If possible, move to a quiet area or press the "mute" button on your phone.
If you missed any part of the message, please stay on the line and press * (star) to hear the message again.
