Mercer women's basketball got their first win of the 2016-17 season with a 72-30 win over County College at Morris.  Freshmen Jhava Wilson (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) led the Vikings with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and freshman Cassie Filipowicz (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) had 16 points and 8 rebounds.  Freshman Jonasia Grier (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) had 11 points and 6 rebounds and sophomore Amirah Terry (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) had 10 points, 6 steals, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.  Freshman Faith Young (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had 10 points and 5 rebounds, freshman Shaunice Palms pulled down 10 rebounds and sophomore Janine Dennis (St. Andrews, Jamaica/The Queens School) had 6 steals in the complete team effort and win.
