Mercer women's basketball won their first game of the 2017-2018 season with a 79-44 victory over Cumberland in the Northampton Invitational. Freshman Haylee Kieffer (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had an impressive game, scoring 20 points, grabbing 21 rebounds to go along with 6 steals, 4 blocks and 4 assists.  Freshman Tylisha Livingston (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) had her first collegiate double double, scoring 23 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.  Sophomore Shaunice Palms (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and sophomore Shanice Barnes (Plainsboro, NJ/West Windsor South) had 8 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.  Freshman Tianna Brewington (Bristol, PA/Bristol) added 7 points in the win.
