Mercer women's basketball (2-1) got their first Region 19 win of the season beating visiting Del Tech Stanton 74-42. Sophomore Heather Gurdon (Perrineville, NJ/Allentown) had 12 points and 7 rebounds and sophomore Monaee Fields (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) had 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists to lead the Vikings.  Freshman Brandi Grimes (Lawrence Twp., NJ/Lawrence) had a double double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds and freshman Kaitlyn Wolfsgruber (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had 11 points.  Freshman Liz Harrison (Bordentown, NJ/Life Center Academy) pulled down 12 rebounds and sophomore Erin Sobkowiak (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the win.
