Mercer men's basketball lost to Rowan at Burlington 65-82.  The Vikings were only down four at halftime (30-34), but the shorthanded squad could not keep pace with the Barons in the second half, where they were outscored 48-35.  Sophomore John Armstead (Brown Mills, NJ/BCIT-Medford) led the Vikings with 17 points and 5 assists and freshman Terrence Wong (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick) added 16 points and 7 rebounds.  Freshman Sean Kelly (Lawrenceville, NJ/Notre Dame) had 11 points and 5 rebounds and freshman Dave Coulanges (Trenton, NJ/Burlington Twp.) added 9 points in the loss.  Freshman Rob Calabro (Hamilton, NJ/Notre Dame) pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out 6 assists in the losing effort.
