Mercer men's basketball season came to an end with a 54-73 loss to Essex in the Region 19 Championship held at the County College of Morris.  The Vikings held a 33-29 lead at halftime, but were outscored by the Wolverines 44-21 in the second half.  Sophomore Tyliek Kimbrough (Brooklyn, NY/Boys and Girls) led the Vikings with a double double, scoring 19 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.  Sophomore Petar Milivojevic (Belgrade, Serbia/Crenshaw Christian) and freshman Kevin Alexis (Trenton, NJ/Nottingham) each added 9 points in the loss.  Sophomore David Johnson (Philadelphia, PA/Communications Tech) had 6 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in his final collegiate game.  The Vikings finish the season 22-4 and as Region 19 Runner-Ups.
