Mercer men's basketball short-handed team put forth an outstanding effort against Brookdale but fell just short of their second win of ths season, losing 69-72 on Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Night.  Two controversial calls in the final minute of the game cost the Vikings a chance to tie to the game and force overtime.  Freshman Jamir Jenkins (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had a game-high 28 points and sophomore John Armstead (Brown Mills, NJ/BCIT-Medford) had 19 points and 7 rebounds.  Freshman Terrence Wong (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick) added 8 points and 7 rebounds and freshman Sean Kelly (Lawrenceville, NJ/Notre Dame) had 8 points in the loss.
