Mercer men's basketball capped off the 2014-15 regular season with their 14th straight win to move to 22-3 and clinch the #1 seed headed into the Region 19 Playoffs next week.  The Vikings beat Valley Forge 92-71 to capture the regular season Region 19 title.  Sophomore Tyliek Kimbrough (Brooklyn, NY/Boys and Girls) had a game-high 20 points and sophomore Dashante Alexander (Philadelphia, PA/Simon Gratz) added 18 points in the win.  Freshman Kevin Alexis (Trenton, NJ/Nottingham) had 13 points off the bench and sophomore David Johnson (Philadelphia, PA/Communications Tech) added 12 points, 5 steals and 4 assists.  Sophomore Mustafa El-Amin (Willingboro, NJ/Pemberton) had 11 points, dished out 8 assists and pulled down 6 rebounds and freshman Dean Blank (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) went a perfect 3 for 3 in field goals and free throws to finish the game with 9 points.  The Vikings have a bye in the first round of the Region 19 Playoffs and as the #1 seed will play 6:30 PM Thursday, February 26th at Morris in the Semifinals.
