Mercer men's basketball (13-12) clinched a Region 19 Playoff spot with a 54-42 win over UPenn JV at the Palestra.  Freshman Dandre Parmley (Philadelphia, PA/Swenson) led the Vikings with 14 points and 7 rebounds and sophomore Michael Douglas (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville) added 9 points in the win.  Freshman David Johnson (Philadelphia, PA/Communications Tech) added 8 points and 6 assists and sophomore Kevin Allison (Bordentown, NJ/Florence Twp.) and freshman Dashante Alexander (Philadelphia, PA/Simon Gratz) had 8 points apiece in the winning effort.  The Vikings close out the regular season with a home game vs. Essex and will begin Region 19 Playoff play next week.
