Mercer men's basketball picked up their first win of the 2016-2017 season with a 64-55 victory over Cumberland.  Sophomore John Armstead (Brown Mills, NJ/BCIT-Medford) had a game-high 18 points to go along with 7 rebounds and freshman Naseem Brown (Philadelphia, PA/Sanfoka Freedom Academy) added 13 points and 6 rebounds.  Freshman Jamir Jenkins (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists and freshman Lorenzo Williams (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) just missed a double double, scoring 9 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
