Mercer men's basketball fell to 1-7 on the season following a 67-85 loss to Monroe (Bronx).  Freshman John Armstead (Brown Mills, NJ/BCIT-Medford) led the Vikings with 18 points and freshman Kevin Avent (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) added 15 points and 8 rebounds.  Sophomore Daquan Hargrove (Trenton, NJ/Daylight/Twilight) just missed a double double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 9 rebounds and sophomore Kenyatta Long (Philadelphia, PA/Bishop McDevitt) scored 10 points and dished out 7 assists in the loss.  The Vikings will face another NJCAA Division I opponent in their next game, when they host Harcum College on Tuesday, December 8th at 7:00 PM.
