Washington, DC -

Mercer men's basketball (8-3) travelled to Washington, DC for a two day trip, where they fell to Frederick, MD 67-72.  Sophomore Dashante Alexander (Philadelphia, PA/Simon Gratz) led the Vikings with a game-high 17 points and Mustafa El-Amin (Mt. Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) had 16 points in the loss.  Sophomore David Johnson (Philadelphia, PA/Communications Tech) had 13 points and sophomore Tyliek Kimbrough (Brooklyn, NY/Boys and Girls) chipped in 11 points.  As part of the Vikings' trip to DC, they met with Alabama Congresswoman Terri Sewell in her office and saw the floor of the House of Representatives.
