Mercer men's basketball (3-10) picked up a big Region win as they held on to beat Morris 75-71 to close out 2015 and the first half of the season.  Sophomore D'Andre Parmley (Philadelphia, PA/Swenson Arts & Technology) had a game-high 24 points to go along with 9 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 assists and sophomore Ezren Bell (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) added 14 points off the bench.  Sophomore Kenyatta Long (Philadelphia, PA/Bishop McDevitt) had 9 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals and freshman Kevin Avent (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the win.  The Vikings do not play again until January 2nd, when they travel to Washington, DC to take on Frederick, MD in a 1:00 PM game being played at the Verizon Center.
