Mercer men's basketball got their first win of the 2017-2018 season with a 86-82 victory over Penn State Schuykill in the consolation game of the Northampton Invitational.  Freshman Eddie Williams (Clearwater, FL/Calvary Christian) had a double double, scoring 27 points and grabbing 16 rebounds to go along with 4 assists and 3 steals.  Freshman Donovon Guess (Camden, NJ/Leap Academy) had 29 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and freshman John Evans (Camden, NJ/Camden) had 17 points and 5 assists.  Sophomore Dave Coulanges (Trenton, NJ/Burlington Twp.) added 7 points and 4 assists and freshman Jordan Wright (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) pulled down 8 rebounds in the win.
