Mercer men's basketball (4-12) lost their opening game of the CCRI Invitational to host CCRI, 68-73.  Freshmen Devon Adams (Philadelphia, PA/Samuel Fels) and John Armstead (Brown Mills, NJ/BCIT-Medford) each had 19 points and sophomore Ezren Bell (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) added 15 points.  Sophomore Daquan Hargrove (Trenton, NJ/Daylight/Twilight) just missed a double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 9 rebounds and sophomore Salam Simon (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) had 11 assists and 8 rebounds, also coming close to a double double in the loss.
