Mercer men's basketball lost 95-121 to Union in their opening game at the CCRI Invitational hosted by Community College of Rhode Island.  Sophomore John Armstead (Brown Mills, NJ/BCIT-Medford) led the Vikings with a double double, scoring 31 points and pulling down 13 rebounds.  Freshman Jamir Jenkins (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had 26 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds and freshman Dave Coulanges (Trenton, NJ/Burlington Twp.) had 22 points.  Freshman Terrence Wong (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the high-scoring loss.
