Mercer men's basketball (3-1) won their first Region 19 game of the season, beating Lackawanna on the road 74-68.  The Vikings had a very balanced effort led by 12 points and 7 rebounds from freshman David Johnson (Philadelphia, PA/Communications Tech) and 12 points and 5 rebounds from sophomore Kevin Allison (Bordentown, NJ/Florence Twp.).  Freshman Dandre Parmley (Philadelphia, PA/Swenson) had 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks.  The Vikings also got 9 points and 3 rebounds from freshman Danny Hairston (Roselle, NJ/Abraham Clark), 8 points and 4 rebounds from freshman Aamir Williams (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) and 8 points and 6 rebounds from freshman Dashante Alexander (Philadelphia, PA/Simon Gratz).
