Mercer baseball (22-8) split their doubleheader vs. Cecil, MD.  The Vikings won Game 1, 13-3 in 6 innings.  Sophomore pitcher Brandon Garret (Levittown, PA/Pennsbury East) had 4 strikeouts in five innings in his fourth win of the season. Sophomore Nick Kagel (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) had 3 RBIs and sophomore David Osnato (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) went 2 for 2 with a double, 2 runs, and 2 RBIs.  Freshman Austin Constantini (Yardville, NJ/Steinert) was 2 for 3 with 2 runs and an RBI and sophomore Joe Santospago (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood) had 2 hits and an RBI.  Sophomores Eddie Ashley (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert), Zach Schram (Newtown, PA/Council Rock North) and Angel Garced (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) and freshman Zach Gakeler (Jobstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) all had an RBI in the win.
