Mercer baseball faces an elimination game in the Region 19 Tournament following a 5-12 loss to the #2 seed Lackawanna.  The Vikings held a 5-4 lead headed into the seventh inning, but the Falcons scored 8 runs in that inning and close out the game with the 12-5 win.  Sophomore pitcher Matt Gall (Shamong, NJ/Seneca) struck out six in five innings.  Sophomore Joe Santospago (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood) went 3 for 4 with a double and RBI and sophomore Brandon Kirk (Yardville, NJ/Hamilton West), Shane Monahan (Levittown, PA/Truman), and Nick Kagel (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) each had an RBI in the loss.
