Mercer softball split their season opening doubleheader vs. Harford with the Vikings taking Game 1, 3-0.  Freshman pitcher Kaley Wise (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) struck out seven in seven innings, walked none and allowed only two hits in her first collegiate win.  Sophomore Laura Gould (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Twp.) went 2 for 3 with a double, home run, 3 runs scored and an RBI.  Wise went 1 for 2 with an RBI and sophomore Kaitlin Stahlbrand (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville) went 2 for 3 with a double in the Game 1 win.
