Mercer softball opened up the 2018 season with two wins in a doubleheader at Harford.  The Vikings won Game 1, 3-2 in 8 innings.  Sophomore Alisha Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Twp.) went 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBIs.  Sophomore Carly Bailey (Clarksburg, NJ/Allentown) had 2 hits and sophomore Gabriella Earley (Brown Mills, NJ/Pemberton) added an RBI in the win.  Sophomore pitcher Kaley Wise (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) struck out 8 in seven innings in her first win of the season and sophomore Tatum Marshall (Bordentown, NJ/Florence Twp.) picked up the save with one scoreless inning of relief work.
